I graduated in psychology from Texas Tech University, USA after finishing PG Diploma in Counseling and Guidance from NCERT, New Delhi. I have been working for more than 23 years in mental health counseling, human resource, and training. I am assisting people of all ages in overcoming distress and improving mental health. I have been associated with several reputed hospitals and academic institutes in India as a professional counselor and psychotherapist. I hold a doctorate degree in human resource management. I keep myself actively engaged in scientific research in various fields of personal and organizational growth.
Approach
I believe in positive psychology and my approach is ‘person-centered’ in counseling. In my private practice, I work with individuals, couples, and families. My therapy work is influenced by the knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Therapy techniques. I work in ways that promote the client’s autonomy, and strictly maintain confidentiality for my counseling sessions.
